In November 2023 Multimed Srl and Meril announce a partnership. Meril is a global medical device company based in India that conducts business in more than 100 countries and was named among the top 100 companies in the Health Tech sector for 2023, according to Becker's Hospital Review. 

This partnership makes us proud as Meril is dedicated to the innovation, design and development of clinically relevant, cutting-edge devices with high-quality standards, investing in research and development to support the alleviation of human suffering and improve quality of life. 

It produces medical solutions in the form of devices for vascular interventions, orthopedic implants, robotics, endo-surgery, ENT products, and in vitro diagnostics. 

In particular, we will distribute a wide portfolio of endoscopic surgery instruments including mechanical suturers (Staplers), absorbable and non-absorbable surgical sutures, tissue sealants, absorbable hemostats, surgical hernia repair devices (Mesh), intrauterine devices (Cu-T, Hormonal IUD ) and energy devices.

From 29th February to 1 March 2024 Multimed will be platinum sponsor of the 12th Techno-Urology Meeting (TUM), the international congress dedicated to technological innovations in urology that gathers the world's most renowned urological surgeons. 

It will be possible to see how far urological surgery has come and to understand in which direction the future is heading: moderators and surgeons will be transported to the Uro-Verse which is a virtual realm that facilitates collaborative learning in the field of surgical innovations. 

In this progressive context of evolution, we are proud to announce that many innovations in laparoscopic and robotic surgery introduced by the brands we distribute (ab medica s.p.a., Olympus Medical Systems EMEA and Surgiline and the ground-breaking solutions of Blink Device Company) will be presented.

On 26th-28th October, we took part at the 77th National Congress of the Italian Society of Anaesthesia, Analgesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care-SIAARTI: ICARE 2023, which gathered 3500 specialists in Anaesthesia and Resuscitation at the 'La Nuvola' Congress Centre in Rome. 

In this context, we presented TwitchView which we distribute thanks to a partnership with the US company Blink DC.  

TwitchView is an advanced neuromuscular monitoring system that allows you to monitor neuromuscular blockade by optimising the use of drugs and eliminating residual neuromuscular blockade. It increases patient safety and is effective, simple and accurate. 

The system comprises a fully assembled disposable electrodes of various sizes using a single wired connector and the simple configuration allows for an incomparable user experience. In fact the LCD touchscreen displays the electromyographic trace in a clear and intuitive way.
